YMCA Edinburgh is excited to share that we have received a successful three-year funding award from the National Lottery Community Fund. The money will support the expansion of our Plusone Mentoring programme and a range of additional supports to build scaffolding around the lives of young people we connect with.
Over the 3 years, we will be able to increase the number of spaces available for 1:1 mentoring, introduce a new paid mentoring model of enhanced support and deliver a range of groups for young people in the community.
YMCA Edinburgh has a rich history of mentoring service delivery and is a key contributor to the mentoring landscape. Recent learnings from the European Mentoring Summit and our own in-house research has shaped new approaches to mentoring service delivery such as youth-initiated mentoring.
We are grateful for the support of The National Lottery and look forward to sharing the continued impact of the work.
